David has been on the staff of RSAMD for more than 30 years, and is one of the UK's most respected teachers. His students have become members of, or regular guests with, most UK orchestras.

In addition to masterclasses and private lessons, there is also an opportunity, especially for overseas students, to visit for several days intensive tuition. Students would reside at his house in the Scottish countryside, and would have an opportunity for several hours teaching in a concentrated period.

There is also scope for private practice, and access to an extensive library of music, books and CDs.
